Ski Riesneralm

Skiing pleasure reaches new heights in the Riesneralm family ski area, a real insider‘s tip
with 4 valley runs, each with a total vertical descent of 900 m and extending up to 7 km in
length, plus a host of attractive pistes. And for even more enjoyment, the area has been
extended to create the »high-altitude and sun ski area« served by a new 6-seater
panorama chairlift.

With 30 kilometres of pistes for all ability levels featuring four valley runs, a unique children‘s ski link, the first in Austria, with 5 lifts and 5 pistes for the exclusive use of children and novices, a cross ride track and an extensive free ride area, winter sports become a thrilling adventure. A host of accolades including the »International Piste Seal of Quality« and the »Best Children‘s Offering Award« for Austria‘s first children‘s ski link attest to the high quality standard. In 2015 the skiresort.de website rated us the leading ski resort with up to 30 km of slopes.

NEW in 2024/25:

The Riesneralm is investing in the expansion of the kids ski area to support them with their first attempts at skiing. This makes it by far the largest children's ski area in the region of Schladming-Dachstein and is one of the largest in Austria. With the new KISI-JET, a magic carpets 168m long, new slopes and a new skischool centre in the middle of the kids ski area, the youngest receive the greatest comfort and professional support.
Two entrances to the kids ski area allow a smooth start into ski entertainment. Further, there is a large public lounge at the Tellerblitz. Toilets, snack machines and a rest room for young mums with complete the offer.
